Grilled Pineapple w/ Gooey Nutella & Vanilla Ice cream
- 1 jar Nutella
- 1 large ripe pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1″ thick rings
- Vanilla ice cream
Set up the BGE for direct cooking and preheat to 400 – 450 degrees F.
In an small saucepan over medium-low, heat Nutella until it is warm and pourable. Be careful not to scorch it.
Lay the pineapple rings directly on the grill grate and grill until pineapple is soft and has nice grill marks.
Remove the pineapple from the grill, cut it into chunks.
Scoop ice cream into dishes, top with warm pineapple and drizzle with warm Nutella.
Optionally, serve with chopped hazelnuts, other favorite nuts or a sprinkling of Maldon Sea Salt.
